    2024 Board Election

Are you interested in advancing our growing hometown animal shelter? OCHS needs dynamic, caring, and skilled leaders to represent the community on our Board of Directors. We urge our members to consider this important way of giving back to the animals and the community we serve.

Our thriving organization needs committed leaders; most board members devote at least five hours a week. Board members must be members in good standing and volunteer their time. Nominations are reviewed by the Board and voted on by OCHS members. The Board meets monthly, and each member is asked to serve on at least one committee. Newly elected members will be seated July 1 for a three-year term.
